North West Exhibition 2014
In June 2014, I exhibited my work as part of the BA (Hons) Fine Art Degree Show at University Centre at Blackburn College. At the time, I worked primarily as a collage artist, creating silk screen prints and mixed media collages inspired by popular culture and heavily influenced by the work of Robert Rauschenberg. During my studies, I developed a passion for combining imagery, texture and printmaking techniques to create layered and expressive artworks. The degree show also marked an important milestone in my artistic journey, as it led to my first commissioned piece for Company Magazine.

Unite 2014
In March 2014, I took part in an untitled exhibition at the Black Horse Pub in Manchester’s Northern Quarter alongside local graphic designer Jordan Coverley.
While we each exhibited our own individual work, the exhibition also featured a number of collaborative pieces that combined our different creative approaches. I created the collaged backgrounds, while Jordan designed and produced stencil elements that were layered over the top, resulting in a series of bold mixed media artworks. Alongside the collaborative pieces, I exhibited my collage and fine art work, while Jordan showcased his graphic design-inspired paint splatter artworks, creating a visually engaging exhibition.
Supersonic 2014
In January 2014, I exhibited my work at my exhibition named Supersonic, which was held in a vacant shop unit in Blackburn town centre. The exhibition featured a selection of my silk screen prints, collages and mixed media artworks, and attracted a strong turnout during the opening night.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was a collaborative piece created with fellow Fine Art student Antonia Hennerley, where she produced the painted foundation and I incorporated collage elements into the composition. The exhibition provided an exciting opportunity to showcase experimental work in a public setting and connect with the local creative community.
Blackburn Light Switch On 2013
In November 2013, I was selected to exhibit my artwork as part of Blackburn’s annual Christmas Light Switch On event. My work was displayed in a vacant shop unit located beside the main stage, giving visitors the opportunity to view the exhibition throughout the celebrations. The display featured five silk screen prints, a large acrylic painting and nine mixed media collages created from bleached photographs, some of which were developed with painted elements. The exhibition reflected my early interest in collage, printmaking and experimental processes. Later, this same painting was exhibited inside this building and made it into the local newspaper.
Impulse 2013
In 2013, during the second year of my BA (Hons) Fine Art degree, I exhibited a collection of work at Darwen Library.
The exhibition featured a mixture of acrylic paintings and silk screen prints, reflecting the techniques and styles I was exploring at the time. It provided an opportunity to share my work with a wider audience and gain valuable experience exhibiting outside of an academic setting.
The exhibition was particularly memorable as it was where I sold my first painting, marking an important milestone in my development as a professional artist.
