COW PAINTING
Caught in the moment
Completed in 2025, Caught in the Moment is the largest painting I have ever created. For the background, I wanted to try something completely different, so I stood the canvas on its side and poured acrylic pouring paints from the top, allowing it to drip naturally down the surface.
With such a bold and colourful background, I decided the main subject needed to balance it rather than compete with it. After researching black and white animals, I chose a cow because its markings would stand out beautifully against the flowing colours. I painted the cow in its original black and white colours, being careful to not blend the brush strokes too much.
Whenever I look at this painting, I can’t help but imagine the cow staring straight at the viewer, almost as if it’s pulling a funny face for the camera while its friend is doing something ridiculous just out of sight behind it.

About the Artist
I was born in 1993 into a naturally creative family, where art and expression were part of everyday life. My grandfather was a calligrapher and watercolour painter, and my father is a poet, so creativity, storytelling and visual thinking were always encouraged. From an early age, making things felt instinctive rather than something I had to learn.
Today, I work in marketing, where I combine that creative background with strategic thinking to develop engaging content, strengthen brands and communicate ideas in ways that connect with audiences.
